Who we are

Cultural Association Friends of Lia Origoni

The Cultural Association Friends of Lia Origoni was founded in 2022 in La Maddalena, the artist's birthplace, with the aim of preserving, promoting and spreading the memory of one of the most extraordinary voices in twentieth-century Italian musical and theatrical life.

Through concerts, conferences, exhibitions and the management of the digital archive, the Association works to restore to Italians — and to the world — the artistic and human legacy of Lia Origoni: singer, actress, a magnetic figure who crossed half a century of European history carrying with her the unmistakable grace of great art.

We collaborate with cultural institutions, historical archives, universities and enthusiasts from around the world to build a living, accessible memory worthy of one who graced the most prestigious stages in Europe.
