Having lived in Paris for five years and having performed a great many pieces during that period, on my return to Italy I decided to gather this material into a collection I would call "Souvenir de Paris". The material proved so extensive that it became necessary to divide the collection into three parts. These are exclusively French songs, accompanied by Canfora, Umiliani, Gangi, De Martino and others.
